Bio

Selah Scott is a collaborator, deviser, actor, videographer, and writer based in Charlottesville, Virginia. She graduated from James Madison University in 2020 with degrees in Theatre and English. She strives to make bad art, and then to make better art.

This thesis explores how female solo performance can create a sense of community rather than centering the self. Through three case studies, Selah Scott looks into expressions of rage, grief, and openness.
